1. Be Bold (August 1): If there was ever a “go for it” aspect, it is this. The get-out-of-my-way Taurus bull trines the builder and detail-oriented Virgo Mars, bringing bold energy to our life plans. Take the bull by its horns! Lead a project, and engage in local politics, now is the time to be visible and make an impact.

2. Lose the Critical Talk (August 1): Overcome those insecurities when a Virgo Mercury opposes Pisces Saturn. Saturn teaches us moderation in how we think and talk, while Mercury in Virgo encourages us to drop the criticality. We are our own worst enemy, guard your thoughts!

3. Don’t Overcommit (August 6): The Leo sun crosses the line of the bull when it squares a Taurus Jupiter. You want to live that ‘gram like, we get it. Be wary of going overboard and having to recalibrate.

4. Love/Drama (August 9): Venus, our love planet in the strong sign of Leo, starts a fight with the major disrupter Uranus in the bullish sign of Taurus (are we seeing trends yet?). We all like a little drama in our relationships, but this aspect may bring too much for the proud Leo, who values loyalty above all else. Try to keep your head and realize when you are being too proud for your own good.

5. Bring on the Fire (August 12): The sun in Leo trines the great healer, Chiron, in the equally firey sign of Aries. Go deep into your personal fears and bring them into the fire. There is nothing more cleansing than a clean slate.

6. Make an Offering (August 13): The sun in Leo meets up with Venus, also in Leo. Time to make up for our spat a few weeks ago and find moments to enjoy partnership and to show our love in a regal, royal fashion. You can’t go too over the top with this aspect.

7. What Do I Want? (August 19): Our destiny is very much on our minds, and rightly so. Aries wants us to think about ourselves and our goals and won’t leave quietly if we aren’t thinking big enough.

8. Take it To the Sky (August 22): Do our ambitions match our opportunities? Squares make that tension real but it’s up to us to read the fine print and find the spark within what seemingly appears to be a rough time for partnership and personal growth.

9. You’ll Get There (August 22): If we are having difficulty with the details, the Virgoan Mars is having none of it. A retrograde Neptune in Pisces makes our vision clear and yet it still feels like our efforts are not good enough. Lean into that Pisces tendency to see things from multiple viewpoints, and don’t be so dang hard on yourself. You’ll get there.

10. Harvest Time (August 23): The Emporer has taken us on a journey of responsibility and as the Sun enters Virgo, now we get to reap the benefits. Think of ways you can transition some of the work and responsibility of the previous weeks into a “set it and check it” mode. Sometimes real leadership involves stepping back and letting others take a swing.
